I graduated in 2004 with a BArch in Architectural Studies from the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff. After 5 years, I decided to change career paths and retrained as a Graphic Designer at Shillington College in London. After graduating in 2011 I accepted a position as a Junior creative for a digital marketing company called Concep Ltd in London (Other offices are based in New York, Sydney and Sophia). I left Concep in October 2014 as the Global Creative lead and went freelance as a graphic and web designer in Brussels until a was given the opportunity to work for Take Eat Easy - a young successful Belgian tech startup company (food delevery by bike) which boomed from 15 to 230 employees in 18 different cities accross 4 europeean countries. In my time at Take Eat Easy, I built up a design team of 5 from scratch as I was the only designer at first doing all creative work from print to digital. I thereafter speciliased in UI and UX design, where my passion lies and delegated all print and marketing design work to the team. My main projects as a senior UI designer includes the brand new iOS app and assisted with Android app and the website (1 year old).
I have travelled extensively throughout my life and the experiences I gained have shaped me into the person I am today. Extremely passionate and hardworking, not only do I have the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines but also have a particularly keen eye for detail and typography. My aim – always create something timeless, beautiful and unique but also functional to suit the client’s individual needs.
